    Description

This is a complete album, nothing removed by me. Dimensions 15 inches high by 12 inches wide, 3 inches in thickness. Covers are present, front cover detached.       Pages string-bound through punch holes on the left-hand edge, nearly all pages broken off at left-hand fold, contents are good. Cards are pasted in. The album was kept by a married couple, whose names are on the cover; the cards were sent from his wife and family to him, and a few from him to her.  There is an Army Air Forces shoulder patch pasted on the inside of the front cover. The military-themed cards begin the album. They are patriotic and reflect the pride and anxieties of having a family member in the service while trying to find the humorous side of things. The album has 25 leaves with cards on both sides of the leaves, so roughly close to 200 cards all together, figuring mostly eight to a leaf. The first six leaves (twelve pages) are army related, the rest of the leaves are mainly for various occasions, with some military ones scattered throughout. Shipping weight six plus pounds. Due to size and weight this will ship most economically in a Large Priority Game box.
