Vintage Wahlstrom Keyless Chuck w/ 2MT Shank MO-55

Description

Wahlstrom Keyless Chuck.
Working and seems to have Good Grip. Needs some cleaning of Patina/ Surface Rust and some lubrication. Stamped 15/64 to 1/2" Capacity. I was not able to get a 1/2 drill in it and had to go down to 31/32". This may be because I didn't have it mounted in a spindle, so was holding the 2MT shank while twisting against closing spring pressure and trying to insert the 1/2" drill all at the same time. Could have used a third hand I guess. These are really neat chucks and you can change bits faster than other keyless chucks.
