Vintage Shelley Art Deco Mode shape, 11780 Trio Serving Plate, Sugar, Milk Jug

Description

Vintage Shelley Serving Trio, made in the early 1930s, Art Deco Mode shape, Pattern #11780, part of the group of patterns in the butterfly handle group. Print in light brown with enameled pink, blue and mauve.  Handles are outlined in green, filled with mauve. The cake/bread serving plate is 9 3/4 inches wide across including the handles and 8 1/4 inches from top to bottom.  There are no cracks, repairs or crazing, a few minor specks in the finish of the plate. The open sugar bowl is in good shape, has a small chip in the base, as noted in the picture.  The milk jug has cracks on each side of the handle. The picture shows the one that will photograph, the one on the other side of the handle will not show in a photo. The milk jug is also has a surface crack across the inside bottom.
