    Description

    Vintage Lyra drum set
    Here is a three piece Lyra drum set, dated unknown.
    My guess would be 1960's. I have very little information on the history of these drums. What I came up with
    online is that Lyra was made in Japan by Star drums which later became Tama. However, I can't be sure of the accuracy of that information.
    The set is in fair condition and
    being sold “as is”
    . The b
    ass drum is 20" x 14", floor tom is 16" x 14", snare is 14" x 5". The bass drum is missing one hoop along with the tension rods and claws for that side. The floor tom is missing a leg and spurs.
    Heads are questionable.
    The snare drum was used as a tip jar for our band, so the top head has a slit cut into it to allow for people to leave money. (see photo).
