came from a well known Odori Dance School in Gion and was probably used by one of the students and stored there for some time...
Design:
It is a lovely iridescent golden cloud design on a purple background with rich glossy-black lacqured bamboo struts.
Condition:
It is sturdy and sound with no sign of wear except for slight creases at the outer-most corners. See photos for details. It looks new and could be used
for either dance practice or display…

It measures about 20” or 52cm from tip to tip when open and is 12” or about 30cm long when closed. Excellent quality!

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
