Vintage 60s 1965 Ludwig Rail Mount 20” x 14” Bass Drum - Black Diamond Pearl
Very nice. Bought from the original owners family. 20” diameter x 14” deep drum shell. Keystone badge serial 127, xxx. Original white mahog interior. Ink date stamp Mar 1965. The original Ludwig heads. Batter head has some tape residue from a felt center. 3 ply shell. Seams are tight. Wrap has some fade but is in super condition. Large classic lugs look great with little pitting. Hoops look great. All but a 1 foot section on a he bottom is original paint! I sanded a 1 foot section towards the bottom and sprayed a layer of glossy black paint. One 3” area on top shows wear from a cowbell clamp. Two sets of two bass drum spurs. 4 extra holes where the prior owner moved the rail to the other side. (It’s Hard to notice, look to left of badge). Bearing edges look great. Overall, shows light wear. Please refer to pictures which are considered a part of the description.
