Thanks.History: Boleslawiec stoneware originated as folk art in the early 1800’s. Today, in the small village of Boleslawiec Poland, skilled artisans are creating the world's most sought-after stoneware designs. By cutting nature-inspired shapes into dried sea sponges from the Mediterranean Sea, the artist hand-applies the designs. The Unikat (Unique) pattern offers more intricate designs and adds hand painted brush strokes. Polish Pottery is handmade throughout the entire creation process and demands deep appreciation. Displaying well deserved pride, Polish Pottery pieces are stamped with the initials of the artist and the emblem of the factory in which they were created.
My shipping price includes my actual postage cost as well as packing/handling cost (bubble wrap, boxes, tape, envelopes, etc.) with transportation to post office and my time. It entails more than the postage stamp amount when it arrives to you. Also note that I recycle materials as much as possible - saving the environment. All that being said I do try hard to be reasonable. Please leave feedback when the item is received, and I will do the same for you.
