Slingerland 14x20 Blue Sparkle Bass Drum in Player's Condition Pre-serial

This is a very nice vintage, 1962 Slingerland pre-serial number 20" (14x20") bass drum, with reinforcement rings, in pretty nice player's condition. As you can see, it has extensive defects (scrapes, scratches, a bit of separation of one of the reinforcement rings, rough bearing edges, some rust on the chrome).
I'm the 2nd or 3rd owner and the previous owner(s) made several modifications to this drum, including adding a rogers swiv-o-matic mount on the top of the drum, and Rogers bass drum spurs.
As far as I know this drum is 3-ply, as many drums of the era were. The interior ply looks to be mahogany and the other 2 plies are likely poplar and maple. All of the hardware is in really good condition considering that this drum is almost 60 years old. I used it as a gigging and recording kit and got compliments non-stop, both on the look and the sound of this drum.
Now to the best part.....the SOUND!! 14x20 (or 20 x 14) bass drums seem to be in demand now since so many companies are only making 16x20. This thing sounds amazing both live and in a studio setting. It's lightweight, easy to transport, and it has literally decades of character.
Unfortunately I don't have any of the other pieces that came with this drum.
