Rare Circa 1935 Leedy Spartan Marching Band Bass Drum - American Legion River Park Post 303 South Bend Ind.
Marching Band Drum made in Elkhart Indiana with Leedy Regular "Hardwhite" drum head.  Measures approximately 11 x 27 inches.  Comes with Leedy bag and
a Leedy Easy Carry Bass Drum Sling.  Hand painted lettering on both sides.  The American Legion logo is a decal.  Lettering and decal work done by Cook Sign Co. Local estate find.
Condition:  The drum has scratching and scuffing from use and storage.  Drum is as found and has not been dusted or cleaned.  The bag has scuffing, staining, and small holes from use.  Zipper on bag works.  Zipper has a break in the teeth at one end.  The bag is as found and has not been cleaned.  Sling is in good condition (see photo)
