This unique Maiogi Dance Fan was made by one of Kyoto’s renown fan makers. It is in perfect, new condition in it’s original box.
This striking maiogi dance fan has the character for ’kotobuki’ stenciled in gold on a scarlet red background and is the same on both sides. The lacqured bamboo struts are done in a glossy black lacquer finish. Beautiful design and fine quality craftsmanship!
We have two identical fans available...
It measures about 20” or 52cm from tip to tip when open and is 12” or about 30cm long when closed. It comes in it’s original box.

Note that due to reduced flights, JAPAN POST has suspended Air Parcel service to the USA, Australia and a few other countries (Europe is not effected). It is not known how long this will last but in the meantime, we are using JAPAN POST SURFACE mail which has tracking and insurance but can take about 60 days to the USA.
Alternatively, for an additional charge, YAMATO INTERNATIONAL offers extremely fast door to door service for a flat-rate for their various size boxes. The smallest “60cm” box is to most countries, can hold up to two kg and measures 27 X 19 X 19cm and arrives in about a week.
