The Halder Simplex Splitting Wedge is the finest splitting wedge available. It is a 6.75lb forged steel wedge. This wedge has several unique features that really help it drive through logs quickly and easily. The wedge is twisted 20 degrees and turns on its own when struck to help split the wood apart. This also helps prevent the wedge from getting stuck in the piece of wood. It is also forged with groves to prevent resistance.
