Easily remove bark or smooth unwanted lumps from your timber with the Felled Carpenter’s Adze Wood Carving Adze Tools. 3-inch-wide flat-edge adze helps to flatten wood beams for your home, boat, or woodworking projects without expensive surface planer tools. Often used by coopers, wainwrights, and woodcarvers, these bowl carving tools use a horizontal striking force to remove heavy waste from your timber surfaces. Even artists and sculptors find use for the woodworkers adze when making totem poles, masks, bowls, barrels, canoes, gutters, and chairs. 18-inch wood handle comes unattached from steel adze head for accurate and comfortable sharpening. Slide the cutting head onto the tapered handle then use a hammer to wedge into place. Mounting screws are included for added security.
