***Please note about using this adapter for charging applications in a vehicle. Care should be taken to not start or stop the engine of the vehicle while charging is in progress. In some vehicles, the accessory port (cigarette lighter port) is temporarily disconnected during start and shutdown of the ignition key. To avoid damage to your charger, stop charging and unplug the adapter before start/shutdown of the engine. Charging with the engine running is highly recommended as it will prevent strain on the lead-acid or AGM battery of your vehicle.***
