These are my ultra-popular 20awg servo extensions, updated for 2022 with safety clips.
If you've been in the R/C hobby for a while something like this has probably happened to you:
You suddenly lost the ability to steer an electric powered car / truck
You lost throttle control in a nitro vehicle
You lost control of 1 or more servos in an airplane or helicopter
Hopefully the result of the incident wasn't too serious -but- the post incident diagnostic all led to the same culprit - you had a poorly made servo extension cable between the receiver and the servo(s) and vibration loosened 1 until the servo was no longer receiving signal from the receiver.
Now there are plenty of ways to deal with this - you could:
Put electrical tape around all servo to extension joints
You could buy those hard plastic servo holders that purport to snap on easily
You could quit the hobby entirely because you hated all the solutions available
Why not check out the slickest solution of them all - a safety clip built in to the servo extension itself! It's a flexible plastic, it won't snap if you bend it to remove the servo, you can bend it right back -and- it adds almost no weight to the overall setup.
