The poor little girl appears to have NEVER BEEN PLAYED WITH and comes in her retail display BOX with original tissue and ties.
This is the very same doll Santa Claus brought to me when I was 9 years old. I still have mine...
Toodles was manufactured in the last part of the 1950s, stands approx. 24" tall, and Toodles the doll herself is MINT in EVERY WAY; her clothing is perfectly intact and beautiful with some very light soiling to one ribbon tie, and a short handful in the folds on the right side of the skirt of her dress... all barely noticeable at all. Elastic on the puff sleeves needs refreshing; I have left that alone, but at buyer's request will refresh it before shipping. Her box is intact with original wire tires and tissue; the top of the box is there but separated and 3 sides missing; box is in good shape for storage where poor Toodles has resided patiently all these years now.
She features the remarkable PEEK-A-BOO eyes -- no matter where you are her eyes seemingly 'follow' you wherever you go, even though they do not move from side-to-side as a 'flirty eyed' doll's would. She won't let you out of her sight...
Her body is immaculately clean with even, unfaded pink skin tone. Her jointed vinyl body -- arms, legs, and head -- moves freely and firmly to pose her to highlight her sweet personality.
She has GORGEOUS LIGHT GOLDEN BLOND curls in the original set; BIG BLUE EYES with long, full and even lashes; rosy cheeks, and rosebud 'kissed' lips.
Toodles is wearing her peachy pink FLOCKED NYLON ORGANDY dress, matching silk taffeta full slip, and matching panties (elastic in panties is still fresh and springy).
