XT90-S are the anti-spark version of XT90s. They're fully interchangeable with standard XT90s, however there's an anti-spark female connector which prevents the spark when plugging a 6S or higher battery into your ESC. The spark not only startles, but it also damages both connectors - eliminating that will ensure your connectors last longer
. Anti-spark is not the only new feature, the soldered ends also have plastic covers which
eliminates the need to use heat shrink wrap.
The nylon shroud contains 4.5MM bullets and notable features include:
Low resistance enabling high current capacity
Ergonomic / easy grip design
Protection against reverse polarity & shorting
Anti-spark female housing
Plastic covers to eliminate the need for heat shrink
Good for up to 10awg wire
While I haven't seen XT90-S copies it's only a matter of time, I can guarantee you the ones in this listing are made by the original factory that invented them. They contain high-temp nylon and gold plated spring connectors which ensures a solid high-amp connection, perfect for applications up to and beyond 90A constant.
Each unit consists of (1) XT90-S Male, (1) XT90-S Female, and (2) plastic covers which go over the solder joints.
